What I Couldn’t Fully Cover in the Column
In the previous blog (14-1), I shared the idea that immunity is not something to simply “boost,”
but rather something to balance and support gently.
In this article, I’d like to take a closer look at three closely connected elements of immune health:
inflammation, body temperature, and recovery,
and explore how hydrogen is discussed from this perspective.

Inflammation Is Not the Enemy
The word “inflammation” often carries a negative image.
However, inflammation itself is a natural and necessary response that helps protect the body.
What becomes problematic is not inflammation itself, but when it continues longer than needed
or remains active at an unnecessary level.
For immune balance, it is important not only to respond when needed,
but also to return to a calm state afterward.

The Connection Between Body Temperature and Immunity
Body temperature and immune function are closely related.
In general, the body tends to function more smoothly when it is gently warmed
rather than persistently cold.
From my own experience, incorporating hydrogen baths or hydrogen inhalation
often helps me feel warmed from the inside.
As a result, I notice that:
- Fatigue feels lighter the next day
- Recovery seems smoother
- The body feels less tense overall

Supporting the Body’s Natural Recovery
When thinking about immunity, it’s helpful to look beyond “not getting sick”
and consider how well the body can recover when it feels run down.
Hydrogen does not control recovery directly,
but it is often discussed as a way to help create conditions where:
- Physical tension eases
- The body enters a more restful state
- Daily stress accumulates less easily
In this sense, hydrogen may support an environment
where recovery can happen more naturally.

Conclusion (14-2)
Immunity, inflammation, body temperature, and recovery
are not separate systems, but deeply interconnected.
Hydrogen is not something that suppresses inflammation or acts as a treatment.
Rather, it is often viewed as a gentle support that helps the body return to balance more easily.
As part of daily life, hydrogen can be incorporated without strain,
supporting the body’s natural rhythm of tension and recovery.
