🌿 Blog 13-2: — Anxiety, Emotional Fluctuations, and Gentle Daily Self-Care —

What I Couldn’t Fully Cover in the Column

In the previous blog (13-1), I discussed the foundation of stress and psychological well-being.
In this article, I would like to continue by focusing on anxiety and emotional fluctuations—why they occur so easily, and how hydrogen is being discussed from a perspective that fits into everyday life.

Unexplained Anxiety May Be a Signal From the Body

“Nothing in particular happened, but I feel anxious.”
“My mood feels unstable, and I can’t fully relax.”

These experiences are not unusual.
When busyness, information overload, disrupted routines, or hormonal changes overlap,
the body may remain in a prolonged state of tension, even before the mind becomes aware of it.

As a result, anxiety or emotional fluctuations may surface later, appearing as a psychological issue—when in fact, the body has been under strain for some time.

The Relationship Between Anxiety and the Autonomic Nervous System

Anxiety and emotional instability are closely linked to the balance of the autonomic nervous system.

When the sympathetic nervous system remains dominant,
the body stays in a constant “alert” mode and becomes more sensitive to small stimuli.

When the parasympathetic nervous system has time to function,
both body and mind can recognize a sense of safety,
and feelings of anxiety may naturally soften.

Why Hydrogen Is Being Discussed

Hydrogen has been studied in relation to oxidative stress in the body,
and from this viewpoint, it is sometimes described as a presence that may help support an internal environment where the nervous system is less likely to remain overly tense.

During menopause, I personally experienced emotional fluctuations and unexplained anxiety.
When I incorporate hydrogen inhalation or hydrogen water, I often notice that:

  • My emotions return to a more neutral state
  • I am less likely to be pulled into anxious thoughts
  • My breathing naturally becomes deeper

This is not a medical claim, but a personal reflection on the importance of creating time to gently reset the body and mind as part of daily self-care.

Choosing Not to Blame Emotional Fluctuations

Anxiety and emotional ups and downs are not signs of weakness or failure.
They can also be signals that the body and mind need rest.

Rather than suppressing these feelings,
taking time to pause, breathe, and gently reset
can gradually make emotional fluctuations feel more manageable.

Hydrogen feels approachable as part of this process—
a quiet support for creating an environment where the body and mind can return to balance.

Conclusion (13-2)

Anxiety and emotional fluctuations are deeply connected not only to the mind,
but also to the body, nervous system, and daily rhythm.

Hydrogen does not eliminate anxiety,
but it may help support a state in which calmness becomes easier to access.
As a gentle and pressure-free option, it can be incorporated naturally into everyday life.
