Hello, this is Sonata 🌿
As April progresses, the sights of spring feel much closer to us 🌸
Walking along paths where traces of cherry blossoms linger, or basking in the soft sunlight, I can feel the seasons advancing just from that alone.
On the other hand, this time of year also brings concerns about pollen, and I often find myself torn between wanting to fully enjoy the fresh air outside and feeling the need to be a little cautious.
Even though it’s a season filled with the joyful brightness of spring, there are days when I just want to settle down once I get home.
That’s why, during this time, I naturally cherish taking a moment to create a quiet space through deep breathing.🌿

Alt: A landscape that evokes the spring air during pollen season and the gentle transition of the seasons
Spring is a season when new cycles begin, but it’s also a time when we’re particularly sensitive to changes in the air.
The longer I spend outside, or the windier the day I’ve been out, the more I crave a quiet moment once I get home. At times like that, rather than adding more activities, I want to focus on calming my mind first. I dim the lights a little in my room and sit down to shift my mindset. And once I do, I take a moment for inhalation therapy 😊 For me, inhalation isn’t so much a time to push myself to do something, but rather a process of bringing my mind back to my home life after being active outside.
In spring, there’s inevitably a lot of external stimulation, isn’t there? New scenery, new plans, new air.
Perhaps it’s precisely because I’ve been exposed to so much of that that I want to spend my time at home as quietly as possible 🌙

Alt: A relaxing moment at home, quietly regulating my breathing during pollen season
In the past, when I thought of spring, I had a strong impression of it simply being a bright and pleasant season, but now I feel it’s not just that— it’s a season when I want to find a balance between time spent outside and time spent settling down at home.
That’s why, during this time of year, rather than forcing myself to be full of energy, I want to prioritize finding the quiet that suits me on any given day. When I take time to inhale deeply, the hustle and bustle of spring seems to fade a little, and I feel as though my mind gently returns inward.
Of course, every day isn’t exactly the same, but just having that “time to return” makes it easier for me to maintain my own pace throughout the season.🍀
During pollen season, since I’m more conscious of the air outside, how I spend my time indoors is also one of the most important things for me.
Enjoying the brightness of spring while settling down quietly at night — that rhythm feels just right for me right now. 🌿

April is a time when each day gradually takes shape amidst new beginnings.
That’s exactly why I want to cherish not just moving forward, but also taking time to calm myself down at the end of each day. The more I feel the spring air during the day, the more I want my evenings to be quiet and gentle.
Taking time to regulate my breathing in this way is a comforting habit for me during this season 😊
