🌸Episode 47: Reflections on the 1,000th World Cup Victory — The Power of Consistency and Daily Hydrogen Habits~

Hello, it’s Sonata here 🌿

The 2026 World Cup is really heating up, isn’t it? ⚽

I heard that the match between the Japanese national team and the Tunisian national team on June 21 marked the 1,000th game in World Cup history—a truly milestone occasion.

That number—1,000—represents the legacy built up over the long history of the World Cup.

I was so happy to hear that the Japanese national team won that historic match.

The Japanese national team won the match 4–0.

Seeing them fight without losing focus until the very end on the world stage gives me strength just by watching.

The World Cup isn’t something that can be summed up by the result of just one match.

To get to that point, there’s daily practice.

There’s nutrition.

There’s sleep.

There’s travel.

There’s preparation for the match.

And after the match is over, there’s also time to get back into shape for the next one.

I feel that behind every major result lies the invisible accumulation of daily efforts.🌿

Hearing the number “1,000th match” made me reflect on the importance of “perseverance.”

The World Cup is a tournament built up over many years by countless players, countries, and supporters.

Each match has led to the next, culminating in this milestone of 1,000 matches.

Of course, I don’t think the players are simply accumulating match numbers.

Daily training.

Shifting their mindset during tough times.

Bouncing back when things don’t go as planned.

Managing their physical condition in ways that aren’t immediately visible, such as diet and sleep.

Even if each of these things seems small on its own, continuing them over the long term may be what allows them to perform at their best on the big stage.

I feel like our daily lives are a bit similar.

Work, household chores, commuting, and interactions with others.

The humidity of the rainy season or sudden heat waves.

Days when we feel chilled by the air conditioning.

Days when changes in atmospheric pressure leave us feeling a bit down.

Every day isn’t always comfortable.

That’s precisely why it might be more important to cultivate the habit of taking care of yourself in your daily life, rather than pushing yourself to do something special just once.

alt: A scene of staying hydrated regularly by incorporating hydrogen-rich water into daily life

For me, one such habit is incorporating hydrogen into my routine.

I drink hydrogen-rich water as part of my daily hydration.

When I feel a little tired, I sit quietly while inhaling hydrogen.

In the evening, I relax in a hydrogen bath.

Rather than treating each of these as something special, I incorporate them in a way that feels natural, depending on how I’m feeling that day.

It’s not as if something changes immediately just because I drink hydrogen water.

Nor does all my fatigue disappear just because I inhale hydrogen.

However, for me, these moments have become a way to treat myself with a little more care.

The busier I am, the more I tend to forget to drink water.

The more anxious I feel, the shallower my breathing becomes.

The more tired I am, the more I’m tempted to just take a quick shower instead of a bath.

At times like that, I pause for just a moment.

I slowly sip some hydrogen-infused water.

I calm my breathing while inhaling hydrogen.

I spend the end of the day quietly, soaking in a hydrogen bath.

For me, my hydrogen routine isn’t about making sudden changes—it’s a series of small, daily steps to help me regain my own pace 🌿

alt: A moment to relax and regulate my breathing while inhaling hydrogen after watching the World Cup

Even if our daily lives aren’t spent fighting toward a major goal like the World Cup players,

we all have our own routines.

I gave it my all a little today.

Maybe I pushed myself too hard today.

I’ll take it easy tomorrow.

I’ll make sure to stay hydrated.

I’ll take a bath a little earlier.

I feel that the accumulation of these small choices gradually helps me bring order to my life.

The victory the Japanese national team achieved in that historic 1,000th World Cup match.

Behind that victory, there must have been countless small steps leading up to it.

Watching them, I felt inspired to cherish my own daily life as well.

Whether I’m feeling great or a little sluggish, I’ll go about my day without pushing myself too hard.

I’ll drink hydrogen-rich water.

I’ll regulate my breathing with hydrogen inhalation.

I’ll relax and warm up in a hydrogen bath.

For me, the accumulation of these small habits is how I manage my well-being to ensure I feel comfortable every day.

As I continue to cheer on the Japanese national team, I want to keep taking good care of my own body and mind as well⚽🌿
