This time, I’ll talk about my physical state when my HbA1c levels were high,
and the gradual changes that followed.
Physical Discomfort When Levels Were High
When my HbA1c was in the 11 range,
looking back now, I had several physical discomforts.
・Mild numbness in my fingertips
・Severe coldness in my hands and feet
・Especially in winter, a constant chill in my extremities
・A persistent feeling of fatigue that wouldn’t lift
At the time, I thought it was just my constitution,
but I realize now my body was sending clear signals.

The Numbers That Gradually Changed
While reviewing my lifestyle, I also incorporated hydrogen inhalation into my daily routine.
At first, perhaps due to increased parasympathetic nervous system activity,
I experienced more frequent runny nose, which felt a bit bothersome💦
But as I continued, it settled down,
and days when I vaguely felt a lightness in my body increased.
Through repeated testing,
the readings gradually changed over about a year and a half:
11 → 9 → 8 → 7 → 6 → 5.8
It didn’t drop sharply.
It was truly, very gradual.
Watching that progression,
I felt, “Consistent effort really does take shape.”

What changed before the numbers did
I think it was around when it went from the 7 range to the upper 6 range.
One day, I suddenly noticed:
“Huh? Lately, that coldness doesn’t bother me anymore.”
“I hardly feel that discomfort in my fingertips either.”
For the past few winters, thick socks and
fluffy slippers were absolute necessities.
But this season,
I’ve been able to get by with just socks on more days.
Of course,
this isn’t solely due to hydrogen.
・Diet
・Sleep
・Daily rhythm
・How I handle stress
I believe it’s the combined result of all these factors.
Hydrogen inhalation was just one habit among them.

My approach to numbers changed
Before, I’d get excited or worried over test results.
But now,
I see numbers as “results”
and habits as “foundations.”
I’ve come to understand that.
I feel that “balancing” isn’t something that changes instantly,
but something that takes time to take shape.🌿
Summary
・HbA1c changed gradually over about a year and a half
・I also noticed changes in how I felt along the way
・Continued hydrogen inhalation as one lifestyle habit
・No longer swayed by numbers
This is solely my personal experience.
It does not indicate any medical efficacy.
Taking it slow, building steadily.
That’s my current approach to “getting organized” 🌿
