🌸Episode 1: Trying Out an Inhalation Hydrogen Device! ~That Mysterious Feeling of Calming Your Parasympathetic Nerves~

Hello, it’s Sonata. Whether you’re new here or it’s been a while, please read this at your own leisurely pace 😊

I love listening to music and having fun with everyone while singing during game streams. I used to play guitar and bass in a band, and music remains a vital part of my life. Equally, I love exploring B-grade gourmet food and relaxing at hot springs, which refreshes both my mind and body. While I’m all about “fun first!”, I have a chronic condition and tend to be a night owl with an irregular lifestyle.

That’s exactly why I’m drawn to things I can “enjoy without forcing myself, and stick with long-term. ”What I’ve been hooked on lately is—it might be a bit surprising— a “portable hydrogen inhaler!” My first hydrogen inhalation was a bit of a shock. I rented the device and tried hydrogen inhalation for the first time.

I set it up according to the manual and turned it on casually.

Then, about 15 minutes in, my nose suddenly started running uncontrollably. “Huh? Could I be catching a cold!?” I panicked a little 😅

Then, all of a sudden, my nose started gushing, and I felt like I was drowning in my own snot…😳 Honestly, I panicked and got really scared, yelling, “H-hold on a sec…!” and ended it there that day.

My nose kept running for a while after that too, and I clearly remember feeling worried.

The sense of stability I felt as I kept going. I was a bit uneasy at first, but my curiosity won out, and I decided to stick with it. Gradually extending the inhalation time, after one week, 30 minutes felt comfortable, and after one month, I started feeling a sense of deeper breathing and a refreshing clarity in the mornings.

Now, 60 minutes of inhalation is no problem! It’s like that initial runny nose incident never happened (lol).

The “lightness” sensation becomes addictive

What I felt most strongly from continuing hydrogen inhalation was my “body feeling lighter.” Even though i’m a night owl and my sleep rhythm tends to get messed up, inhaling hydrogen mysteriously relaxes me and makes it easier to fall asleep. The refreshed feeling when I wake up in the morning is like stepping out of a hot spring ♨️.

This feeling of naturally and effortlessly getting back on track suited my optimistic self perfectly.

Continuing it loosely as a “multitasking habit”

I’m not the type to get all fired up and think, “I’ll absolutely get results!” but for both health and beauty, I believe “enjoying it is what makes it sustainable.” So I’ve made hydrogen inhalation part of my “multi-tasking habits”—like watching movies or anime, or relaxing a bit before a game stream.

For me, hydrogen inhalation has become a “little treat,” just like B-grade gourmet food or hot springs, and one of those “easy-to-incorporate pleasures” in daily life.

Summary

Though my first hydrogen session surprised me with a massive runny nose, and the stuffiness made me feel like I was “drowning in snot,” which was unsettling. Despite this, I continued these sessions and the 30-minute sessions turned into comfortable 60-minute sessions. I genuinely felt that “light, refreshed sensation” like after a hot spring, and It became a “new hobby” I can enjoy without forcing it.

From now on, this blog will casually and enjoyably share my actual experiences with “hydrogen living.”
