🌸 Episode 9: My Experience with Hydrogen Water ― A New Habit You Can Easily Adopt ―

Hello, it’s me Sonata. 🌿
So far, I’ve written about my personal experiences with hydrogen inhalation and hydrogen baths, but this time I’d like to talk about “hydrogen water.”

Inhaling hydrogen and soaking in it in the bath have now become completely integrated into my daily life. Among these, I feel hydrogen water is the easiest to incorporate into my routine.

💧 My First Encounter with Hydrogen Water

My first introduction to hydrogen water came when my family suggested, “There are portable options—you should use them daily.”

Inhalation devices are simply too cumbersome to carry around, and hydrogen baths are tricky when traveling.
But with hydrogen water, whether from a PET bottle or made with a dedicated generator, I can incorporate it anywhere.

As someone who loves eating out and visiting hot springs, I thought, “This seems like it would work for me,” and that’s what got me started.

🌿 What I Felt After Actually Drinking It

Honestly, at first, I was skeptical, thinking, “What’s the difference from regular water?”
The taste itself is almost identical. But after eating lots of fried or sweet foods while traveling, I noticed more days where my body felt a bit lighter. Travel often means sleep deprivation and irregular schedules, but after drinking hydrogen water and resting, I sometimes woke up the next morning feeling, “I got up more easily than expected.” It felt similar to that “light body sensation” I experienced during hydrogen inhalation, only this time through drinking.
(This is purely my personal experience🌿)

🌼 How it interacts with my throat and skin

I have asthma, and during seasonal changes or when feeling under the weather, I’m prone to throat discomfort.
During those times, keeping hydrogen water nearby and drinking it frequently sometimes seems to ease the scratchy feeling in my throat. It’s not something I expect to work as quickly as medicine, but the reassurance of “taking care from the inside” has been a significant support for me. Also, after days of eating out and consuming greasy foods, I feel like my skin’s sensitivity doesn’t linger as long as it used to.

Combined with hot springs and hydrogen baths, it gives me the sense of being “nourished from the inside out.”

🌿 The Difference from Inhalation/Baths and the Appeal of Hydrogen Water
Hydrogen inhalation gives a sensation of deepening your breath.
Hydrogen baths are a relaxing time where your whole body unwinds.

In contrast, the appeal of hydrogen water, I think, is its convenience.
・A glass first thing in the morning
・Hydration between meals while out and about
・A glass before bed
No special preparation needed— it naturally fits into your daily flow. Hydrogen water is like a “little companion” quietly supporting your everyday life.

☁️ My Approach (Summary)
I consciously focus on these three points:
・A glass first thing in the morning
・During breaks while eating out
・As hydration before bed
Even just doing this, I feel my approach to daily well-being has shifted slightly.

🌿 In Closing
I believe the greatest appeal of hydrogen water lies in its simplicity—just drink it. Because it can be enjoyed anywhere without effort, it naturally became part of my daily routine. As a habit to make eating out, traveling, and hobbies just a little more comfortable and enjoyable.

Moving forward, I plan to continue using hydrogen water as my daily companion, combining it with inhalation and baths. 🌿
