🌸 Episode 79: Autumn Sports, Health Checkups, and My At-Home Reset Time

Hello, this is Sonata 🌿✨

We are now in the mid-October, and we can truly feel the deepening of autumn day by day.

Around this time of year, sports festivals and athletic events are held everywhere around town, and many people likely receive notices for company or community health checkups 🏃‍♀️

As the saying goes, “autumn is the season for sports,” moving your body in the cool, refreshing climate feels genuinely wonderful. I also make a conscious effort to move during this season, such as taking slightly longer walks or doing my stretches more carefully than usual.

Moreover, because it is the mid-year mark and the season for autumn health checkups, it serves as a wonderful opportunity to calmly face our bodies and reflect on our recent lifestyle habits, doesn’t it?

Precisely because this is a season when we tend to become more mindful of changes in our physical condition, what I cherish is not starting something completely new or extravagant, but rather steadily continuing my small, daily self-care habits 🌿

No matter how busy the day is, or how tired I might feel when returning home from being outdoors, my steady hydrogen routine is always there to support my time at home 😊

First, on nights when I have been active or walking around outside during the day, I warm my entire body thoroughly in a home “hydrogen bath” filled with slightly lukewarm water 🛁

Enveloped in the delicate bubbles spreading through the water, I gently massage my legs and lower back that worked hard for me today. As I take slow, deep breaths in the bath, my body, which was slightly chilled by the outside air, warms up from the core, bringing a calm, comforting sensation that gently melts away the tension and stiffness of the day.

And from the time I step out of the bath until I get into bed, it is time for my nightly staple: hydrogen inhalation 🌙

I dim the lights in the room to rely only on the soft glow of indirect lighting, play some quiet, soothing music in the background, and gently breathe through the cannula.

Incorporating hydrogen inhalation does not mean that all physical fatigue or concerns magically vanish. However, by taking this time every day at a set hour to focus on my own breathing and return my mind to a neutral state by telling myself, “Good job today,” I feel as though a warm sense of mental space opens up within me ✨

Furthermore, for hydration when I wake up in the morning or during the day, I have a glass of hydrogen water 💧 I make it a point to comfortably spend my days at my own pace while steadily supplying gentle hydration to my body.

During health checkups and seasonal transitions, we can easily find ourselves rushing or feeling like we “need to do this and that.” However, isn’t the most important thing to steadily continue comfortable habits within a range that feels natural to us?

Moving forward, while enjoying the autumn sports season and my everyday life, I hope to continue cherishing healthy self-care at my own personal pace 🍂

I hope you all spend a wonderful autumn taking gentle care of your bodies as well.
