🌿 Blog 55-1 Opening the Door to Health with Hydrogen Everyday Wellness and Medical Devices Questions About Hydrogen Inhalation While Using CPAP

Hello everyone.

In Episode 55 of my newspaper column, I shared a conversation with a client who uses CPAP (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure therapy) for sleep apnea and asked whether hydrogen inhalation could also become part of their wellness routine.

Today, I’d like to expand on that discussion and explain what I believe is most important when someone using a medical device is considering a new wellness practice.

After more than 30 years of working with clients in New York, I have received this question more frequently in recent years.

A Common Concern

For people who rely on CPAP therapy, it is perfectly understandable to feel cautious about trying something new.

The client featured in Episode 55 asked,

“I’d like to experience hydrogen inhalation, but is it appropriate while using CPAP?”

Questions like this deserve careful consideration rather than assumptions.

Whenever someone is using a medical device or receiving ongoing medical care, I encourage them to speak with their physician before introducing any new wellness routine.

Working Together With Healthcare Professionals

In this particular case, the client first consulted their physician in Japan before incorporating hydrogen inhalation into their routine.

I believe this is the most responsible approach.

At my salon, we do not provide medical treatment or medical advice.

Instead, I explain the features of hydrogen wellness options, answer questions about their general use, and encourage anyone with medical conditions or medical devices to work closely with their healthcare provider.

Choosing a Safe Wellness Routine

Hydrogen wellness includes several options, including hydrogen inhalation, hydrogen baths, hydrogen water, and hydrogen mist.

The best approach is not necessarily the one that worked for someone else.

It is the one that fits safely and comfortably into your own lifestyle and healthcare plan.

That is why I believe individualized guidance is so important.

Summary (55-1)

In Episode 55 of my newspaper column, we explored a question from a client using CPAP therapy.

When introducing any new wellness habit, especially while using a medical device, safety and communication with your healthcare provider should always come first.

My role is to help clients understand available hydrogen wellness options—including hydrogen inhalation, hydrogen baths, hydrogen water, hydrogen mist, and home hydrogen systems—so they can make informed decisions together with their medical team.

In Blog 55-2, I’ll explain the important distinction between medical care and wellness, and why understanding that difference helps create a safer and more balanced approach.

This article is provided for general educational purposes only and is not medical advice. Individuals using medical devices or receiving medical treatment should consult their healthcare professional before beginning any new wellness practice.
