Hello, it’s Sonata 🌿✨
It’s the first weekend of September.
The calendar says September, but it’s still very hot outside ☀️
While I was wondering,
“Where exactly is autumn hiding?”
I started looking through the movies currently playing in theaters…
and found a title that immediately caught my attention.
Hot Spring Shark 2: Kyushu Great Battle 🦈♨️
…
A shark… in a hot spring? 😂
As someone who loves hot springs, the word “hot spring” already gets my attention.
But then you add “shark.”
And on top of that, “Kyushu Great Battle.”
That is a lot of information in one title(笑).
The movie was released on September 4 and is also showing in Fukuoka.
I have to admit…
I’m curious 🎬✨

🦈 Why Are Shark Movies So Hard to Ignore?
When you think about it, shark movies are a funny genre.
A shark in the ocean?
That makes sense.
But in movies, sharks somehow appear in places that make you think,
“Wait… there too!?”
😂
And this time…
it’s a hot spring.
You definitely can’t just sit there thinking,
“Ahhh, this feels nice ♨️”
and relax(笑).
I like both movies and anime, so I go to the theater from time to time.
Recently, I also went to see Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie: Walpurgisnacht Rising 🎬
Sometimes I watch anime films.
Sometimes live-action movies.
And now…
Hot Spring Shark.
Even I have to admit my movie choices are all over the place 😂
But that’s part of the fun.
Depending on the day, I can just think,
“Today, I feel like watching this.”
♨️ As a Hot Spring Lover, I Can’t Help Being Curious
I love hot springs.
And when I visit a hot spring town, the bath itself is only part of the experience.
I want to enjoy the scenery.
Walk around the town.
And of course…
eat something delicious 🍴✨
For me, hot springs and food are almost a package deal(笑).
So when I hear the words “Kyushu” and “hot spring,” I immediately start wondering,
“Which hot spring area is it?”
and,
“What good food is nearby?”
My thoughts quickly move in a completely different direction from the movie 😂
But this time, before getting into the bath, I might jokingly want to check:
“No sharks, right?”

🛁 The Movie Has Hot Springs — My Home Has a Hydrogen Bath
Now, the hot springs in the movie may be a dangerous place…
but at home, I have my usual hydrogen bath 🛁🌿
And of course…
there are no sharks 😂🦈
That part, at least, is safe(笑).
When I can’t go to a real hot spring, I have my hydrogen bath at home.
For me, it has already become a normal part of everyday life.
Some days I listen to music while I’m in the bath.
Some days I just sit there quietly and do nothing.
And after seeing a movie, I might relax in the bath while thinking,
“That scene was pretty funny.”
When I go to bed, I sometimes sleep while inhaling hydrogen too 🌿
Just because it’s a hydrogen bath doesn’t mean I spend the whole time thinking about hydrogen.
For me, it’s very simple.
I come home.
I take a bath.
And that bath happens to be a hydrogen bath.
That’s all 😊

🎬 So… What Movie Should I See Next?
It’s the first weekend of September.
It’s still hot, so spending some time in a cool movie theater sounds pretty good.
Watch a movie.
Eat something delicious afterward.
Go home and take a hydrogen bath.
That sounds like a pretty ideal day for me 😊✨
So…
Hot Spring Shark 2: Kyushu Great Battle.
Will I actually go see it?
Or will I just enjoy the title and leave it at that?
I’m not sure yet 😂
But…
I love hot springs.
I love movies.
It’s set in Kyushu.
And there are sharks.
When all of that comes together, it’s hard not to be at least a little curious(笑).
If I do go see it, I have a feeling that when I get into my hydrogen bath that night…
I might look around the tub just a little more carefully than usual.
…
Even though I know there’s nothing there 😂🦈♨️
I hope everyone has a fun first weekend of September 🌿✨
