We’re now in the latter half of May, and the air is starting to feel a bit like early summer. How did you all spend your Golden Week this year?😊

This year, I didn’t travel far for Golden Week; instead, I spent it relaxing at home. Even though I could feel the lively holiday atmosphere, I was able to go at my own pace, and looking back now, I realize it was a truly pleasant time🍀

Since I spent so much time at home, I used my hydrogen bath more often than usual, and what struck me anew was the softness of the water. It’s hard to put into words, but the sensation when I got into the tub was somehow gentle—it made me want to soak there for a long time. 🛁

Of course, this is just my own personal experience, but perhaps because it was a holiday with fewer hectic activities, I was able to notice those subtle comforts more easily.

While holidays spent going out and fitting in lots of plans are fun, I realized that spending time quietly at home, savoring my usual routines a little more mindfully, is also quite nice. 🌿

Since I had a little more time on my hands during the holiday than usual, I naturally felt more appreciative of the time I spent in the tub. I’d soak slowly in the warm water, idly reflecting on the day’s events or just spending time in quiet contemplation without thinking about anything.  Just having that kind of time made me feel as though my mind was unwinding as well ✨

I’ve always found that the busier my days are, the more I appreciate these quiet moments, but during this holiday, I really felt the true value of “taking time to recharge at home.” There’s a certain comfort that only becomes apparent when you don’t go out.

And after Golden Week ended, I went to a hot spring to clear my head♨️ It’s different from taking a hydrogen bath at home—spending time in a spacious tub and an open, airy space just makes you feel special. Hot springs have a unique charm all their own, and I really enjoyed being able to take in the scenery, the air, and the spaciousness. It’s different from the calm of a home bath; perhaps the comfort of a hot spring lies in being able to relax while feeling a bit of a break from the everyday routine😊

What I realized once again this time is that both hydrogen baths at home and hot springs enjoyed outdoors have their own distinct merits.

At home, you can quietly recharge at your own pace.

At a hot spring, you can feel your spirits lift in a spacious environment.

Rather than saying one is better than the other, I think it’s wonderful that you can enjoy them according to your mood and how you want to spend your time 🌸

Because I spent so much time at home during Golden Week, I was able to rediscover the gentle comfort of a hydrogen bath, and visiting a hot spring after the holiday break helped me reset my mindset in a whole new way. It really struck me how much my experience can change just by switching up the location and atmosphere, even though it’s still the same “time spent soaking in hot water.” There are so many ways to find inner peace in our daily lives, aren’t there? Among them, I’ve realized that I really do love my bath time.

I enjoy spending quiet moments at home, and I also love the sense of freedom I get from visiting a hot spring every now and then.

I think both are precious “moments of relaxation” for me. 🍀

When busy days pile up, I sometimes feel like I need to do something special to clear my head, but perhaps there’s actually plenty of comfort to be found in simply taking a leisurely bath at home. And when I occasionally visit a hot spring, it helps me unwind in a different way. Moving forward, I hope to continue cherishing my bath time in whatever way suits me best at the moment 🌿

Whether it’s a quiet hydrogen bath at home or an open-air hot spring enjoyed outdoors, I want to spend my time comfortably, savoring the unique benefits of each.
