🌸Episode 30: I Still Remember the Day I Went to Osaka ~A Day of Exhausting Travel and a Quiet Moment with My Inhaler~

Hello, this is Sonata 🌿

Today, I’d like to write about a trip I took to Osaka—a memory that still feels vivid to me 😊

I’ve been writing about the soft spring air and the changing seasons, but this time I’d like to shift gears a bit and share my personal experience of how I felt after the trip.

At that time, I had taken a bus to Osaka.

During the trip, I kept wondering, “Will I be okay?” but the long round-trip journey took a bigger toll on my body than I’d expected, and my back ended up aching terribly.

I felt exhausted just from sitting, and by the time I got back, I was really feeling the strain.

It made me realize once again that long-distance travel is a major undertaking for the body, even on its own.

Even if the trip itself goes smoothly, there are times when you feel a sudden wave of exhaustion afterward, aren’t there?

Especially on days when you’ve been in the same position for a long time, your body might be stiffer or more tense than you realize.

That day, I was so conscious of the heaviness in my back that I thought, “This is a bit tough.”

I still vividly remember the quiet time I spent at home back then.🌿

That day, I used a medical-grade hydrogen gas generator to inhale 600ml for 30 minutes, and then tried inhaling another 300ml.

Rather than doing anything major, I just wanted to sit quietly and take some time to calm down.

Afterward, I actually felt a little better.

Of course, everyone’s experience is different, and this is strictly my own story, but at that moment, I felt incredibly grateful that I’d taken the time to inhale quietly rather than just sitting there enduring the pain. 😊

This experience made me realize that “how I spend my time” after going out or traveling is also important.

It’s easy to focus on preparations before leaving or what happens during the trip, but how I calm myself down after returning might be just as important.

Especially with long trips, even if they’re for fun, there’s often lingering fatigue that stays with your body afterward.

That’s why I feel it’s so important for me to take a little time to unwind instead of jumping right back into activity as soon as I get home 🌙

That trip to Osaka—including the challenges of the journey—turned out to be a truly memorable day.

At the same time, it was a day that reminded me anew of how precious quiet time can be when I’m feeling overwhelmed.

Even now, whenever I have a long trip ahead, I try not to push myself too hard and make sure to factor in time to settle down once I get back.

Going out is important. But taking time to relax afterward is just as important.

That’s what I’ve been reflecting on as I recall that day in Osaka. 🌸
