🌸Episode 27: My Thoughts as I Gradually Get Used to Everyday Life in Spring ~Even Amid the Hustle and Bustle, Let’s Not Forget to Take Time to Relax~

Hello, it’s Sonata here🌿

As we approach mid-April, I feel like I’m gradually getting used to the spring air🌸

I think that slightly tense atmosphere surrounding the start of the new school term and fiscal year is starting to ease just a little bit.

Around the time of entrance ceremonies, the streets are filled with an atmosphere of “new beginnings,” and just watching it makes me feel like I want to sit up straight.

But a few days later, “everyday life” starts to settle in, bit by bit.

Whether you’re the one entering a new environment or the one watching over them, everyone is gradually shaping their daily routines in their own way.

I feel like mid-April is just that kind of time😊

Around this time of year, while I enjoy the brightness of spring, I also find myself thinking more and more, “I want to make sure I don’t forget to take time to relax.” 🌿

Since the beginning of a new chapter tends to make us look forward, we can sometimes find ourselves tensing up without even realizing it.

I feel like the fatigue we didn’t notice at first due to nervousness can suddenly surface once we’ve gotten a little used to things.

That’s why, rather than adding something special, I want to prioritize making sure I have “moments of relief” within my usual routine 🍀

On busy days, it’s easy to just keep going with the momentum, but I feel that having even a brief moment to relax at times like that can change how the day ends.

Lately, after a day spent feeling the spring air outside, I try to consciously create a quiet flow inside my home.

Precisely because it’s a bright season, I dim the lights a bit when I get home and try not to let the hustle and bustle carry over.

Those small shifts are actually quite important to me. 🌙

Pollen can be a concern this time of year, so after a day spent outside, I sometimes find myself wanting to take a moment to use my inhaler and spend some quiet time.

For me, it’s less about “pushing myself to do something” and more like a habit that helps me transition from the flow of the outside world back to the flow of home.

Spring is a pleasant season, but it’s also a time when you can really feel the changes in the air, so having my own way of settling into a calm rhythm makes it easier to feel comfortable and at ease 😊

As I gradually get used to each day of spring, the scenery around me begins to look a little different.

Things that initially felt “new” or “unfamiliar” gradually become part of my daily routine.

But perhaps it’s precisely because I’ve gotten used to them that I sometimes fail to notice when I’m pushing myself too hard.

That’s why I try to be especially mindful of not ignoring my own feelings, especially when I’ve grown accustomed to things. 🌸

Accepting those small feelings—like wanting to take it easy today or wanting to spend the day quietly—just as they are.

I feel that doing just that makes every day of spring feel a little gentler.

When we’re caught up in the hustle and bustle, it’s easy to think that “getting things done properly” is what matters most,

but I want to value “taking the time to calm down” just as much.

Some days are for moving forward, and others are for letting go a little.

Perhaps it’s because we have both that each day continues to feel so comfortable. 🌿

Now that I’ve gradually grown accustomed to these spring days,

I don’t want to focus too much on just pushing myself;

I want to make sure I cherish the moments when I can truly relax.

These are the thoughts I have on this April day. 😊
