🌿 Blog 21-3 : — Deep Sleep and Physical Recovery —

What I Couldn’t Fully Cover in the Column

In the previous blogs (21-1 and 21-2), we discussed the importance of sleep and the role of the autonomic nervous system.
Here, we will look more closely at how deep sleep contributes to physical recovery.

 

The Role of Deep Sleep

Sleep consists of two main phases:

REM sleep
Non-REM sleep

Deep non-REM sleep is often associated with physical recovery processes.

During this stage:

  • muscles recover
    • the immune system is supported
    • hormone regulation occurs

Sleep and Daytime Performance

When deep sleep is sufficient, people may notice improvements in:

  • morning alertness
    • daytime concentration
    • emotional stability

On the other hand, poor sleep quality may lead to lingering fatigue.

 

Hydrogen and Relaxation Habits

Some clients at my salon have shared experiences such as:

“After starting hydrogen inhalation, I sleep through the night more often.”
“A hydrogen bath helps my body relax before sleep.”

Of course, experiences vary, but hydrogen is sometimes included as part of a relaxing evening routine.
