🌸 Episode 5: The Unexpected Connection Between Eating Out and Hydrogen — Enjoying Food While Finding My Own Way to Reset —

Hello, it’ Sonata.🌿

When it comes to New Year’s, it’s all about osechi and ozoni, right?

I like both, but I especially love ozoni,

and this New Year’s, I ate it almost every day.

I kept thinking, “Ozoni again today is fine,”

and before I knew it, I had this feeling my body was somehow “growing too much” compared to usual.

But that’s just part of the New Year spirit.

The table is lively, and before I know it, my chopsticks keep moving—it’s an annual scene for me.

Even so,

I never felt like I needed to restrain myself from eating.

I usually enjoy eating out and exploring new foods,

and afterwards, I value “rebalancing” myself in my own way.

Even after New Year’s ended,

I didn’t need to start anything special—

just returning to my usual rhythm was enough.

Thinking that way, both my mind and body gradually settled down.

What I feel precisely because I love eating out

I enjoy eating out while traveling or strolling,

and I treasure the time spent savoring B-grade gourmet food and flavors unique to each place.

Freshly grilled dango, hot croquettes straight from the fryer,

shops discovered through food websites.

Each of these experiences

becomes a joy in my daily life and travels.

But honestly, including every New Year’s,

as I keep exploring food,

moments come when I think, “My body feels a bit heavy.”

Even so,

rather than giving up the joy of eating,

I want to focus on how I spend my time after eating.

My personal “rebalancing” routine

At times like these,

hydrogen inhalation has naturally become part of my life.

I maintain it as a daily habit.

At the end of the day,

having quiet time while inhaling hydrogen

helps my mind settle naturally.

It’s not about restricting myself because I ate too much,

but about adjusting to the flow of the day while it’s still happening.

For me, hydrogen has become a tool that helps me switch back to my daily rhythm.

It doesn’t feel like doing anything special,

just returning to my usual life.

I think that’s why I can keep it up without strain.

☁️ Summary

  • During New Year’s, your appetite increases and your body’s sensations may change
  • Don’t hold back on eating out—keep enjoying it as a pleasure
  • After eating, use hydrogen inhalation to restore balance in your own way
  • Returning to daily life without doing anything special helps calm your mind

Enjoying eating,

and then how you spend the time afterward.

By valuing this balance,

I feel I can return to daily life at a comfortable pace 🌿

In the upcoming Episode 6,

I plan to delve deeper into the theme discussed on January 3rd,

exploring the “difference in sustainability” between hot springs/saunas and hydrogen

from the perspective of “the extraordinary versus the ordinary.” ♨️

This year too, I hope we can take care of ourselves

at our own pace, enjoying the journey without pushing too hard. 🌿
