Hello, it’s me, Sonata🌿
The New Year atmosphere is gradually settling down, and it’s about time we start getting back into work and daily rhythms. While the start of the year can feel relaxed, I also sense it’s a time when fatigue can build up in our bodies and minds without us realizing it.
In Episode 4, we discussed the “differences in the quality of relaxation” between hot springs, saunas and hydrogen.
This time, as a follow-up, I’d like to write about the differences from the perspectives of “non-daily life” and “daily life,” based on my own experiences.
♨️ Hot Springs & Saunas Offer “Special Time” Relaxation
Hot springs and saunas are special places that let you step away from daily life and reset yourself. When you soak in hot springs while traveling or make time to visit a sauna, a switch naturally flips, signaling, “Okay, time to switch gears.”
Thoroughly warming your body, sweating, then stepping outside for a deep breath— this entire sequence feels like a luxurious relaxation only possible because it’s extraordinary.
However, going to hot springs or saunas every day isn’t realistic. It requires adjusting time, location, and schedules, inevitably making it something you enjoy only on special days.

💧 Hydrogen: Relaxation that “blends into daily life”
Meanwhile, hydrogen inhalation and hydrogen baths naturally integrate into your lifestyle. I myself have incorporated hydrogen inhalation into my daily routine.
At the end of the day, having quiet time while inhaling hydrogen makes me feel my mind naturally settle. It’s not about big changes, but more like gently easing the day’s fatigue right as it happens.
I think the ease of “not needing to do anything special” is what makes it so easy to keep up.

🌿 The concept of balancing everyday and extraordinary experiences
To put it in my own words, here’s how I see these two:
- Hot Springs / Saunas → For deep refreshment in extraordinary moments.
- Hydrogen Inhalation / Hydrogen Baths → For effortless self maintenance within daily life.
It’s not about which is better or worse, but about choosing what fits the situation. Especially amidst busy days, just having small care moments where you think, “This is enough for today,” creates mental breathing room.
Hydrogen has allowed me to take that breath.

☁️ Summary
- Hot springs and saunas offer extraordinary relaxation beyond the everyday
- Hydrogen provides gentle care easily incorporated into daily life
- Using them appropriately helps maintain balance for both mind and body
As the new year begins and daily routines resume, let’s take care at our own pace without pushing ourselves too hard. 🌿
Next time, I plan to share more relatable perspectives on how I’ve integrated hydrogen into my daily life.
