What I Couldn’t Cover in the Newspaper Column
In Column No. 9, I responded to a question from a reader who had been struggling with years of unexplained dizziness.
In this blog, I’ll go a little deeper into
why dizziness happens, how it feels when no cause is found,
and my own experience living through it.

1. “Unexplained dizziness” can be emotionally overwhelming
The reader who reached out was a woman in her late 50s.
She had been experiencing dizziness for several years,
but even after multiple medical exams,
her brain and ear tests showed no abnormalities.
Not knowing the cause made her feel lost and unsure of what to do next.
I understand this feeling very well—
I went through something similar myself.
● MRI and neurological exams
● ENT (ear, nose, and throat) evaluations
All results came back completely normal,
yet the dizziness continued.
The anxiety and helplessness that come from having symptoms
without a clear explanation can be incredibly heavy.
2. Dizziness isn’t only caused by the brain
When people experience dizziness, they tend to think immediately of brain-related issues.
Of course, it is important to rule those out.
However, dizziness can also come from several other sources, including:
✔ Inner ear imbalance
✔ Disturbances in the semicircular canals
✔ Tiny crystals (otoliths) shifting inside the ear
✔ Inflammation in the inner ear
✔ Dysregulation of the autonomic nervous system
Because the inner ear controls the body’s sense of balance,
even a small disruption can lead to significant dizziness.

3. My own experience: “If nothing is wrong, then why do I still feel unwell?”
When I experienced dizziness,
the most confusing part was this question:
“If every test says I’m perfectly fine, then where is this dizziness coming from?”
That uncertainty created fear and tension in my daily life.
During that period, I focused on supporting my overall balance by:
● Gentle routines to calm the nervous system
● Relaxation and deep breathing habits
● Improving sleep quality
● Light movement and self-care practices
It was around this time that I discovered hydrogen care.
Knowing that hydrogen has no known side effects
and can be incorporated gently into daily life
gave me a sense of reassurance when I needed it most.
■ Summary
Dizziness—especially when the cause is unclear—can deeply affect daily life
and create emotional stress in addition to physical discomfort.
In the next article (Blog 9-2), I will explain:
● What types of hydrogen approaches are available
● How ear cannulas are used
● Points to consider when choosing a device
● Safe and comfortable practices
